The Rover Robot by Green Science is a construction set which serves an educational purpose. It helps you create a robot which rolls on the wheels and is powered by solar energy. You also have a battery back up when there is no sunlight. Inside the box, you will find all the parts needed to build the robot, along with instructions to guide you through the process. The completed robot is blue and white. You will require 1 AAA battery for your robot to run it when there is no sunlight. The robot measures approximately 13cm when it is complete. After putting the robot together, kids can see it roll along. It will help them understand how solar energy can be harnessed for powering their toys. In addition to educating children about green energy, the toy also helps in improving their logical thinking and focus as they assemble the different parts of the robot. You will require a small Philip’s head screwdriver for building this toy. It is recommended for children over 5 years old.
