The Droid Inventor Kit by LittleBits is a construction set which features the famous R2 D2 Droid from the Star Wars movie series. The kit includes more than 30 pieces which snap together to form the Droid, including electronic blocks and a 9V battery which helps you control the Droid using the free app. Instructions are included in the kit to help you get started on building your own Droid. You can rearrange the electronic blocks so that the Droid can perform different tasks. Kids can create and customize their Droid with the help of coding to give it a personality of their own. This innovative toy uses a free app which includes more than 22 missions that help the Droid learn new skills and help the kids learn about artificial intelligence too. The completed Droid will require a smart device like an iPhone (iOS 10.0 or later) or an Android device (KitKat 4.4 or later) to build and control the Droid. The toy also includes 20 authentic droid sounds from the Star Wars movie, and most of the parts are made of plastic. It measures approximately 41cm x 31cm x 15cm and is recommended for children over 8 years old.
